Rain falls almost everyday in Jakarta, the city where I stay. It's pretty normal for a tropical country in this rainy season. Sometimes it can be quite disturbing, especially if you have many outdoor activities. But if you're spending most of your time indoor. It's time to enjoy hot drinks while relaxing or during hibernation (my favorite activity during this season). One of the options is Hot Chocolate. This piece of art came to my mind when I take a sip of it (thanks Choco). Dunno why I like to draw a girl wearing apron serving something, maybe I was a waitress in my previous life... just maybe. And after another cup of those Hot Chocos and extra effort to finish the piece, here it is!

Cerita Kuliner Tempmas 2012 - nuraisya blog

Do you ever heard about "Tempmas"? Tempmas is a contest held by GBAtemp every the end of the year to celebrate Christmas. The prizes varies every week for whole December, each week the prize will get bigger and better. The first week theme is to make a Holiday Themed Pokemon (Christmas of course).  As a gamer I also join this contest, the only thing I missread was that only base pokemon will be judged not the evolutions. That means I overdoing the evolution pokemon boo hoo hoo, despite of that I'm not giving up to join next week contest. For all of you gamer or non gamer, you're welcome to join.... Merry Tempmas everyone!!

Cerita Kuliner Black Jackets - nuraisya blog

Lanjutan dari bongkar-bongkar karya lawasku kemarin salah satunya adalah gambar Josephine, tokoh perempuan dari komik "Black Jackets" karya David Djohari yang diterbitkan Elex pada 2004 lalu. Jadi iseng membaca ulang kembali komik tersebut, yang menurut pribadi saya merupakan komik hasil karya pengarang Indonesia yang alur ceritanya menarik. Black Jackets mengangkat cerita perjuangan para penyihir di masa pembantaian penyihir. Tokoh utamanya adalah dua perempuan kakak beradik yang memiliki sifat yang sangat bertolak belakang. Memang ceritanya cukup singkat tapi alurnya termasuk rapi dan tokoh-tokohnya pun memiliki karakternya masing-masing. Dan nilai plus untuk puisi-puisi yang disematkan di dalamnya. 

"Black Jacket" is a comic by David Djohari, an Indonesian comic author. The story about two sisters who  struggle in witch's massacre era. They have opposite characters. It's a short story but I fell in love with the story line, the characters and the poets in it.
